CoolSculpting Redlands

CoolSculpting Redlands

What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive, non-surgical fat reduction treatment that uses cooling technology to freeze target areas of fat. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen) then experience a natural cell death. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates the dead cells leaving behind a more sculpted you. We are proud to offer CoolSculpting in our Redlands location.

Is CoolSculpting safe?

Most definitely. CoolSculpting is FDA-approved for fat reduction and has proven safe and effective for our patients along with many other patients across the nation since it was introduced.*

Am I a good candidate?

We offer a complimentary evaluation at our Redlands location to determine candidacy. Typically, patients with a small to moderate amount of unwanted fat cells are the ideal candidates for CoolSculpting treatments. Individuals that suffer from obesity will most likely not benefit from this treatment but are welcome to speak with Dr. Apodaca about alternative procedures. The most common candidates usually have specific areas of pinchable fat that they’d like to reduce such as bulges on the stomach, love handles, hips, thighs, arms, and under the chin.*

Does it hurt?

You might feel some pressure as the fat is vacuumed into our suction device for freezing, but it’s unlikely you’ll be in pain. CoolSculpting is non-invasive and designed to be a comfortable treatment. In fact, we encourage our patients to bring books to read or other devices for entertainment during the treatment in order to pass the time.*

How long does the treatment take?

Generally treatments take about an hour or less to complete. This is why we suggest bringing in some form of entertainment.*

When can I expect noticeable results?

Results vary, but most patients see results within a few weeks after their treatment(s). This is due to the body requiring time to release the fat that has been frozen. The duration of time needed to see results is completely up to your body. You’ll need to allow at least 3-4 weeks before expecting results to appear. Then, you can look forward to the results continuing to improve for about 2 months after the initial treatment. How cool is that?*

How many treatments do I need?

The amount of treatment sessions is best determined by attending a complimentary consultation in order for us to evaluate how much fat reduction is desired. We will then create a customized treatment plan specific to your aesthetic goals. You may only need one treatment to achieve the results discussed, or you may decide you’d like several treatments for optimal results. Most patients request to treat multiple areas after they learn how easy and effective the CoolSculpting process can be.

What areas does CoolSculpting address?

CoolSculpting is most effective on the abs, back, thighs, buttocks, arms and under the chin. This is a versatile treatment that will be able to contour to your body and address most areas of concern.*

What do the results look like?

How long do the results last?

This depends on you. Results can last as long as you change and/or maintain current lifestyle habits. While CoolSculpting is great for fat cell reduction, it will not prevent weight gain in the future. A balanced diet and active lifestyle are the best ways to ensure long lasting results. *
