ProLon® Fasting Mimicking Diet

The ProLon® Fasting Mimicking Diet was developed as a way to enjoy the benefits of a 5-day fast while still being able to enjoy delicious, nutritious food. There are numerous benefits to fasting, including stem cell rejuvenation and abdominal fat loss. Unfortunately, due to the restrictiveness of a traditional fasting diet, many people tend to suffer through hunger cravings, irritability, or other factors that lead them to give up, which is why the ProLon® Fasting Mimicking Diet came into development at the Longevity Institute at the University of Southern California.

The 5-day meal plan was developed using natural ingredients derived from plants. Your body, however, will not recognize these meals as food while you consume them. In just five days, the ProLon® Diet can help promote longevity and reduce excess fat.

What’s Inside?

The ProLon® meals are sold at Pure Gold Medical Center in five convenient packages, so your day-to-day life is impacted as little as possible. All of the foods inside are gluten-free and plant-based options designed to provide the best possible nourishment to your body. The meal packages include energy bars, soups, drinks, supplements, and an assortment of snacks.

Ranging from 770 to 1100 calories per day, every meal is comprised of plant-based ingredients with zero additives, preservatives, or chemicals. These nutritious ingredients taste great while providing the highest levels of nutrients possible.

How Does it Work?

You should maintain the ProLon® Diet for the required five days. Each daily food package comes complete with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and an assortment of snacks. All of the food required for any specific day should be consumed within that day. It would be best if you did not have food leftover for the next day.

Once the 5-day fasting diet is completed, a transitional day is highly recommended. During this interim period, you can eat easily digestible foods like soups, rice, light pasta, and small portions of meat (no binge eating). After the transitional period, you are free to eat regular, nutritious food.

The 5-day diet should be repeated once per month for three months. If you choose to continue the 5-day diet into the following months, we recommend speaking with a healthcare professional first.

Is This Diet Right for Me?

ProLon® Fasting Mimicking Diet is gluten-free and lactose-free. However, those who are allergic to nuts, soy, or tomato should not take part in the current version of ProLon®. Clinical trials show that ProLon® lowers abdominal fat while building relative lean body mass, reduces fasting glucose, drops C-reactive protein (this helps fight inflammation), and balances IGF-1 levels (linked to DNA damage, mortality, and aging).
