Where are the incisions made?

The incisions are made in the natural crease of the upper lid and just under the eyelashes or inside the eye. The incisions heal well and are almost imperceptible. Patients are given a local anesthetic before the procedure begins.

Are there limitations to blepharoplasty?

Blepharoplasty refers to an eyelid lift. It corrects the sagging skin on the upper lid. If a patient has low brows, they will need a brow lift. Blepharoplasty cannot help lower eyelids that are puffy due to allergies.
